Although there are literally more than hundreds of ways to earn money from home, you want to choose a path that allows you to build a solid business that will give you

1. Leverage (do less, earn more)
2. Multiple streams of income
3. Massive followers of interested buyers (commonly termed as herd)

To do that you need to shift your thinking from an employee mindset to an entrepreneur mindset and build your home-based business the same way you would for any other business.

The number one reason many people fall, victim to online SCAMS, is that they don’t think like entrepreneurs but instead choose the lottery mentality of getting rich quickly with no work. Because of their greed, they end up paying for online shiny objects which do nothing but empty their pockets.

To start earning money from home you need to put the following 2 things into consideration:

1. What is the nagging problem/need your target market is experiencing?
2. How can you customize your products/services so that their problems or needs are met?

As you can see your business revolves around solving people\’s problems or giving them the desire they want. The better you are at understanding their problems, the better you become at customizing products/services that solve them.

After knowing their problems/needs and having products/services (yours or affiliate) that solve their problems, you need to follow a proven strategy/formula or blueprint for you to acquire as many paying clients as you can and make the most out of them.

If you’re running a business that doesn’t follow a proven blueprint/formula or strategy then your business is doomed to failure.

Blueprint For Home-Based Business Success

The blueprint/formula/strategy that has proven multiple times to offer tremendous success, especially for the work from home entrepreneurs is made up of 3C’s (commonly known as the 3C’s of marketing). These are:

1. Create: Create content that offers massive value to your target audience. [This article you\’re reading is a perfect example].

3. Convert: This is when you convert your target audience into paying customers. This happens when your audience has gained trust from you and is willing to pay you money for the products/services you’re promoting.

Tools Needed To Earn Money From Home

Offline Tools:
If you’re building your home-based business entirely offline, then the simplest way for you to get instant results is by starting with your warm market (people who know and trust you) and sharing valuable information that they need[create]. Those who become interested in the value you offer them will end up buying [convert] what you’re selling.

This has been the model used by most Network Marketing Companies since the 1950′s and is still in use today. Although you can achieve instantaneous results with this method, it is impossible to achieve LEVERAGE.

Leverage is the advantageous condition of having a relatively small amount of effort/cost yield a relatively high level of returns. In other words, doing little and achieving a lot.

To attain leverage with your business you need to run your business on a marketing system that does all the telling and selling for you whether you’re active or not. Calling 10, or 20 people on a daily basis will not unless you’ve hired multiple telemarketers.

Third-party marketing tools have the ability to do the telling and selling for you while you enjoy valuable time with your family. Some of these tools include:

1. DVD’s
2. CD’s
3. Direct Mail
4. Flyers

For good conversions, you need to ensure that majority of the info (80% or more) offers value and the remaining info should be about a specific product/service you’re selling. It’s best you start with a cheap product so that you get multiple sales.

Online Tools:
If you want to attain MAXIMUM LEVERAGE that will make your dream of earning serious money from home a reality, then you just can’t ignore the internet. Since millions of people log into the internet on a daily basis, it has become a perfect platform to position your business/offer in front of your target market, offer them value, build a list, and communicate with them on a day-to-day basis via email and be able to sell them products/services again and again all on autopilot. To do that effectively you’ll need the following tools:

Blog: To attract money, you need to be attractive. And to become attractive online you need to lead with value instead of a product/service. And there isn’t a better tool for offering value to your target audience than a blog. You can host your own WordPress blog (like this one) or use a viral blogging system built for online marketers. I personally use both. My own blog(s) like this one gives me the freedom to do what I want and get full control and the viral blogging system handles the traffic (since it is an authority site, it ranks higher in the search engine than other sites/blog) and pays me 100% commission (which is a lot of money) for its affiliate program. The viral blogging system I use is Empower Network’s Viral Blogging System (VBS).

Squeeze Page: List building has proven time and time to be the most effective way to earn money from home. The reason you want to build a list of interested people is that you want to communicate with them regularly, build a relationship with them, and be able to sell to them again and again and again. And squeeze pages are a great tool to capture your leads [interested people].

Squeeze pages are landing pages created to solicit opt-in email addresses from prospective subscribers. It is usually made up of a Headline, Main message [what\’s in it for the subscriber], Optin form [where they write their email], and Call To Action [The Big Submit Button]

Here is an example of a squeeze page I use to build my list.

You can either design the squeeze page yourself (ie if you have knowledge of HTML + graphic design), outsource from websites such as Odesk and Elance, or use simplified tools such as Leadpages (this is the one I use).

Email Auto-responder: Your landing page needs to be integrated with a list building software (email auto-responder) which will be storing all your subscriber list and has the capability to send emails to you on your behalf on autopilot. These are the common autoresponder tools I use:

1. Aweber
2. Get Response

So there you have it. If you stick with the 3 C’s of marketing and use the right tools earning money from home will become easier for you than baking a pie.
