According to Google Keyword Tool, there are approximately 246,000 people who search for the term Make Money From Home on a monthly basis. I don’t know. Maybe you’ve Googled make money from home too. You might have come across numerous stories on the internet of young teens who live the Internet Laptop Lifestyle who have become millionaires after mastering the skill of how to make money from home. You might have also developed the interest to build a business venture yourself in the comfort of your home and may have succeeded or failed.
Most people haven’t figured out the mechanics of making money from home. Most think that without the presence of a computer, internet, and IT knowledge it’s impossible to make money from home.
But the truth is that making money from home is no different from making money out of your home which is exchanging value for money to your target market. The only difference is that you’re doing it at home and other business owners are doing it in the marketplace.

Since Google makes money whenever visitors click (Google pay per click), they share with you a portion of their revenue (usually a few cents per click).
To be able to make money with Google Adsense you will need 2 things:
- Website
- Traffic
Although the idea of making money from Google is cool, the downside is that you display your competitors\’ ads and you need to drive massive traffic to your website to see significant results.
2: Auction Sites
You can’t talk about action sites without the name eBay popping up. The website was created to make people like you have a platform where you can sell or buy products. Since auctions attract many buyers, you have the opportunity to sell, that is if you have products to sell.
Although selling products you don’t need is cool and you can make good money, at the end of the day you really need products to sell. For serious long-term business, eBay might not be the perfect choice to make money from home.
3: Banner Ads
You probably see banner ads every day when you commute to work [i.e if you work in the office]. Since most business owners are familiar with this type of ad, that is the first idea that comes into mind when they think of generating income online. Lending their ad space on their website to business owners.
Banner ads are a great way to make money from home. They are more effective however if your website has good traffic, and very good content which keeps them engaged long enough to see and click the ads. You can charge your visitors for space or per click.
